What does Clipper-compatible actually mean?

The Clipper body is a worldwide standard: refillable, with a replaceable flint. DEKOSTA cases are modeled to fit that body exactly — the lighter drops into the case, sits without rattling, and comes out easily when you want to swap it. One case can therefore carry a succession of Clipper lighters for years: when the gas runs out you replace the lighter, not the case. It is a cheaper way to buy and a much better fit for the way collectors use these things.

How are the prices set?

Three things decide what a case costs: print time, how much filament it consumes, and the hand-finishing it needs. Bulky, highly detailed figures spend longer on the printer and use more material; multi-color models need filament changes mid-print, which adds labor. Simpler forms finish faster and sit at the top of this list. Because the page is sorted from the lowest price up, the models that match your budget appear first.

Which uses does it suit?

Everyday pocket carry comes first: the case protects the lighter from scratches and drop damage and gives you a fuller, better-balanced grip. Collecting is the second use — plenty of our customers keep characters from the Dark Legends, Cartoon Universe, Animal Spirit, Fantasy and Street series on a shelf. The third is gifting: a Clipper case with a character picked for the person receiving it makes a memorable present on a small budget.

What about material and build quality?

Every case is printed layer by layer in our own workshop from PLA+ filament. PLA+ is tougher than standard PLA, holds up better to impact and finishes with a smoother surface; its matte texture never feels like cheap plastic in the hand. After printing, each piece is worked by hand: support marks are cleaned off, the fit is tested on a real Clipper, and the surface detail is inspected. We make these in small batches rather than mass production, which is exactly why we can hold that standard.
